During Karen's presentation at Baton Rouge Children's Advocacy Center, she was very authentic and engaging of her audience.

Ms. Karen Doughty was so delightful, professional, and ready to share her experiences as an abuse survivor. She spoke ever so eloquently and captured the audience’s attention with her vivid portrayal of her own experience as a victim of child abuse. Ms. Doughty also provided a free copy of her book which was given to the Capital Area Family Violence Intervention Center to help educate their workers and provide guidance for those who also are affected by child abuse. Ms. Doughty is a true woman of God and such a great example for those who suffer abuse. We were pleased to have her at our event and look forward to her attending and speaking at our future events.
